What is an accreditation body in the halal industry
An accreditation body monitors all the entities involved in testing, certifying and verifying halal products, ensuring that all standards are enforced, to give assurance to the consumers that each halal product is safe, of high quality and full compliance with the Islamic Shariah (principle).
Every country or state usually has one accreditation body to provide checks and balances and to keep the halal industry together within its territory.
